All Skid plates that we custom build at
Crawlertech feature a separate cross member for the transmission mount.
This allows for service for driveshafts and changing oil without having to support the transmission while the skid plate is off.
By not having the skid be the part of the tranny mount, the surface of the skid plate is smooth.

Crawlertech Boat Sides are CNC bent 1/4" thick plate steel, they feature the CT4x4 designed system where the body mounts are above the bottom plate, making the whole rocker area clear and free of rock hangers.
